Become a Strathmoor Village Board Member

Our Mayor and Commissioner Positions, (4), will be up for re-election this fall on the November ballot. If you would like to serve your city as a Board member, now is the time to apply. The Commissioner positions are a 2 year term and pay $100 a month. The Mayor is a 4 year term and pays $300 a month. The deadline to submit the filing forms is August 10, 2010 by 4:00 p.m. Be a part of the decision making and leadership of our 6th class city. You may pick up a filing form and submit it at:Jefferson County Clerk’s Office810 Barret Avenue(502) 574-6100M-F 8-5 p.m. There is a $20 filing fee payable to the clerk’s office with a check or cash. Take proper ID as well, or call them for any questions. Once all applications are in, we will run a special newsletter so you may introduce yourself to our voters.
